I am Fr. Humphrey Agbim, from the Catholic Diocese of Ahiara, Imo State Nigeria, ordained in 2008. After my ordination, I served for seven years in my Diocese, in the following capacities: as an Assistant Parish Priest, and Parish Administrator. In 2015, I travelled to Germany and did a two-year Master course in Social Anthropology at the University of Munster. I joined the Diocese of Shrewsbury, as an Overseas Priest on mission since 2nd September 2017. I served at Holy Angels Parish, Hale Barns, from 2nd September 2017 to 20th March 2020, and at St Philip Neri Parish Birkenhead, from 20th March, 2020 to 26th March 2023, both in the capacity of an assistant Parish Priest. Before my present assignment, as the assistant Priest of the Parish, I assisted Canon Christopher Mathews, the Cathedral Dean at Shrewsbury Cathedral Church, from 26th March 2023 to 28th August 2023.
