The last of the Lenten soup lunches run by the Ladies’ Guild, took place on Friday 27th March. A wonderful total of £1,811.64 has been raised for MISSIO. This will be rounded up to £1,900. The Ladies’ Guild would like to thank everyone who supported the six weeks of Lenten soup lunches: the ladies who kindly prepared the delicious soups; the bakers who made the lovely cakes; all the helpers who assisted in so many ways, and everyone who came along and supported the events.
