| We’re now just six days away from the crucial Third Reading vote on the Leadbeater assisted suicide Bill this Friday. I know you’ve already taken action – perhaps more than once – and I am really grateful for everything you are doing. But I’m writing this evening because there’s something new and urgent MPs need to hear before they cast their vote this Friday. A new tool from The Other Half highlights two deeply disturbing ways this Bill could put people at serious risk: It could allow patients with eating disorders, such as anorexia, to access assisted suicide – even if they’re not terminally ill. It could put victims of domestic abuse in danger, by allowing abusers to pressure vulnerable partners into ending their lives.
